How to Market your Notary Business with a Facebook Page
May 18th, 2012Have you created a Facebook Page to promote your notary business? Whether you have your own office, several offices, or work at home, this is a great idea. You can create your Facebook Page in just minutes and we’re here to help. There are many reasons to create a Facebook Page, including: marketing your business website, listings such as FindNotary, the latest in the notary world, and events happening locally to your business, along with connecting with your many customers and clients.
Customer interaction + Customer service + Marketing = Winning!
Here are 4 steps to get started:
1. Go to Create a Page
Go to the Create a Page, which can easily be found in the Footer. From here, select the “Local Business or Place” option, unless you are a very large business with multiple locations. In that case, select the “Company, Organization or Institution” choice.
We highly recommend having your business information reflect your FindNotary profile information so everything your clients and potential clients see are consistent.

2. Set Up your Company Information
Add your company logo and provide information on your notary business, including basic info and links to your company website, FindNotary profile, and other social networks.

3. Invite Friends & Family
Just like we recommend on our site, invite your friends and family to check out your new Facebook Page, along with your email contacts. Facebook has it built-in very easy to invite people to check it out. This is a great way to get people to like your page right off the bat and draw attention to your company.

4. Share your Company Websites
Share your company website, your FindNotary profile, your other social networks, and other sites that show of your company’s services and capabilities. Especially if you don’t have a website yet, you can use our site as a notary landing page with all of your contact information and business info.

That’s it! Now go Create your Facebook Page and start promoting your business! Also, you should create a notary blog and market your notary blog as well. We’ve got you covered there!
